			Duncan Associates was originally founded by one of the nation's leading urban planners, James B. Duncan, in Fort Lauderdale in 1977. From its offices in Texas, Illinois and Indiana, the firm serves a growing clientele of progressive cities and counties. Since 1987, the firm has served 135 public clients in 34 states. Unlike most consultants, Duncan Associates specializes in plan implementation -- drafting development regulations and preparing infrastructure financing studies. In fact, the firm has prepared more development codes and impact fee studies than any other consultant in the nation over the past decade. Firm projects have received awards from the Texas, Louisiana and Florida chapters of the American Planning Association.
